When are you ready to foster/adopt? Do you have any holidays booked in the next 6 months?

If you are renting, do you have your landlords permission to keep pets? PLEASE NOTE- We will ask you for your landlords written consent prior to your in person home check. To save wasted time for the charity and yourself, please ensure you have this ready before submitting your application

How many people live in your household? Do any of them or regular visitors have allergies?

How many children live in your household? Do they have any behavioural or learning needs? Please provide information and ages.

Do you have any visiting children at the property? If so, please provide their ages and any behavioural/learning needs

What type of property do you live in? Please describe your home and if you rent or own.

Do you have a garden? If so, please describe your garden including any fencing. Please include boundary type and heights.

Is the garden private or communal? Who else has access to the garden? How do you access your garden?

Have you ever owned dogs before? Please provide information on breed, length of ownership, any medical/ behavioural issues and if you have ever had to rehome a dog.

Are there currently any pets in your home? Please provide details of any pets

If you have current dogs or cats, are they neutered, microchipped and vaccinations up to date? If not, please state the reason.

Do you currently or have you ever volunteered at or adopted an animal from any other animal rescues? If yes, please provide details.

Please describe your work patterns and the work patterns of other adults in your home. How long would the dog be left alone for?

Will you be using a dog walker or day care? If so, please describe this routine. Who will you be using?

What is the reason you would like to foster/adopt?

Please provide information on any previous dog experience.

Would you be happy to adopt a dog with CURRENT behavioural issues such as house/resource guarding or becoming reactive to people or dogs? Please provide as much detail as possible, if there is a particular behaviour you feel you can manage and any behaviours that would be a big problem for you.

What type of dog are you looking to adopt? Please consider age, breed and gender as well as the required activity levels. Is there a dog you are interested in?

Would you be happy to work with/manage a dog who develops behavioural issues AFTER adoption such as house/resource guarding or becoming reactive to people or dogs? Please provide as much detail as possible, if there is a particular behaviour you feel you can manage and any behaviours that would be a big problem for you.

If you have had dogs before, please provide an example of a training technique you have used with your current/previous dog

Are you happy for the home checker to take photos of your garden?

The rescue will contact adopters to ensure neutering has been done and to check the overall wellbeing of the dog, do you agree to this?
